The Lancia Beta was the first brand new model introduced by Lancia after it had been taken over by Fiat in 1969. It was produced in several body styles, namely a four-door fastback saloon (Beta berlina), four-door three-box saloon (Trevi), two-door coupé (Coupé), two-door targa (Spider), three door estate (HPE) and a mid-engined sports car named the a Beta Montecarlo or Scorpion, depending on the market it was sold into.
